The Art of Tarot: Cards, Intuition & Connection
Over de cursus
This workshop brings together practical framework, clear methodology, and imaginative storytelling for reading tarot cards. By the end of the week, you will leave with a reliable working knowledge, grounded tools for daily practice, and the confidence to read fluidly and accurately for yourself and others.
Reading cards can be more intimidating as we feel we cannot hold all the information that they contain. The Minor, The Major and then upside or reversed. The spreads and techniques for assimilating the information, not to mention all the different style decks!!
All this can seem overwhelming so this is why I’m putting on this week’s workshop. So we’ve got the time and space required to go through all this information. And you may even be surprised how easy it is to really read tarot.
We will be unlocking the abundant information of tarot through theory, history and through practice to hopefully gain better insight into tarot meaning.
We will also develop skills, using meditation, breath work and even yoga to open to our own intuition in reading the cards.
This is not just about theory, we need to unlock our personal intuitive language to gain confidence and ease when reading for others.
Programma
The Tarot Immersion: Theory, Practice & Yoga
We will be unlocking the abundant information of tarot through theory, history and practice. We will develop the skills to open up to our own intuition in reading the cards.
This week’s workshop will include a mixture of yoga/breathing/meditation every day so as to maintain the openness required to allow the information to be absorbed and not become too mental!
Over the week, you will:

Master the Arcana: Gain a solid, intuitive understanding of both the Major and Minor Arcana. Meanings. Using the Marseille Deck and also Prisma Visions Tarot.

Awaken Your Intuition: Learn how to look past the memorized meanings and truly tune into the subtle messages of the cards. With breath work and meditation we can release the mind to allow for connection to the cards. We are working with tarot yes, and also the information that arises beyond time and space.

Find Your Unique Voice: Cultivate your own personal style of reading that feels authentic to you. We shall do this through practice periods, solo and in group settings.
This is a very important part, as everybody has a different language, especially when it comes to the divinatory arts. This is even more imperative to understand these days, as the diversity is increasing.

Receive Personal Guidance: Every student will enjoy a dedicated, full one-on-one, one-hour reading directly with me during the week.

Voor wie?
This is a course for people interested in tarot. It’s for all levels of learning. No previous experience is required.
This can interest people who work in the well being environment and can become a great complimentary tool to work with people as part of coaching, guiding, psychology etc.
And also for anyone who just wants to understand better the cards and their meanings for personal use!
Extra informatie
You will need to bring your own tarot deck to work with. I strongly suggest using the Marseillan or the RiderWaite deck, as these are simple.
Other decks can be overly artistic which can become confusing.
We want to stay with the information. And as you will see over the course, there’s enough in simplicity to give us what we need to read. You will need a good journal for the notes you take. There will be hand outs along to help.
Bring your yoga mats, cushions and blankets for ultimate cosiness. We shall be in a room where you can choose how you learn..floor or chair and table. All’s possible!
Over de docent
With over 30 years of experience reading the tarot and more than 15 years teaching yoga, this journey is rooted in a deep love for embodiment, intuition, and holistic healing.
This is how I have created a grounded understanding of the physical body and esoteric practices.
Following this career of teaching, I have understood the importance of realising one’s own language and ways to develop it to impart ‘good’ information.
People have asked me for some time now how to learn tarot so the call has been heard. This is the very first course of this kind!
So I am honoured to welcome you to L’Huy Préau, and have the opportunity to share this magical, deep and fun method of reading cards with you all.
